Capybaras are the largest rodent in the world. As strict vegetarians they munch on plants from the ponds they live by. They can run as fast as a horse and hide in water when they feel threatened. Basically a larger guinea pig the capybara is sometimes kept as pets due to their gentle nature.

This semi-aquatic animal’s skull features two large incisors which keep growing their whole lives.
