The American bison, or buffalo, is the national mammal of the United States! Making it and the Bald Eagle both a national symbol for the country. The buffalo has a come back story that is quite impressive, as the animal was almost hunted to extinction. With a ton of work, the American bison has been saved from that fate and still reside in Yellowstone National Park as they have since prehistoric times. They are the largest mammal in North America reaching a height of up to five feet. Their mood can also be judged by their tail, so pay attention!

β—‹ What is 1:24 scale?
β€’ Scaling is a way to miniaturize items to make them small but still of appropriate size to each other. Think model homes, dollhouses, and railroad models. For this particular scale 24 inches is equal to 1 inch. A popular scale for small dollhouse collectors, the largest scale for model airplanes, and American G scale train models also uses this size.
